Educational Qualification
The Educational Qualification Post wise are as follows:
Graduate Teacher (Arts) :
- The candidate must hold a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Arts or Commerce from a recognized university, with a minimum of 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent), along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.
- As per Government OM No. ASE.238/2014/213, dated 22.11.2019, institutions with territorial jurisdiction outside Assam that have study centers within the state, but are not recognized by the DEC under UGC, will have their degrees or certificates deemed invalid for employment under the Education Department. However, qualifications from KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL (Gauhati University), and Distance Education (Dibrugarh University) will be accepted for employment purposes.
- For Auxiliary TET candidates, a least score of 60% in each paper is required for the UR category, whereas OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and PwD categories must accomplish at slightest 55%.
Graduate Teacher (Science) :
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science from a recognized college, with a least of 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or an comparable capability), along with a Single man of Instruction (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by the National Committee for Educator Education.
