NLUJA Guwahati Recruitment 2024 – Warden, Guest Faculty, and Nurse / ANM  Posts

The NLUJA, Guwahati has put out two job notifications to fill positions for Female Wardens, Nurses/ANMs, and Guest Faculty. Those who qualify and are interested can submit their applications here.

NLUJA Recruitment Process                                                                                    


1. Warden (Female)
   
   No of Post: 01

   Age Limit: Applicants should be between 30 and 55 years of age. Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications, on a lump-sum basis per month.

    Educational Qualification: 
  • Must hold a degree in any field.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in hostel management at universities or educational institutions.
  • Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Assamese, along with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
2. ANM/Nurse
 
No of Post: 01

Age Limit: Applicants should be between 25 and 55 years of age.

Educational Qualification:

  • Completion of a GNM or B.Sc. Nursing program from an accredited nursing school or institution, with registration under the "Assam Nurses' Midwives' and Health Visitors' Council." OR
  • Completion of an ANM nursing program from an accredited nursing school or institution, with registration under the "Assam Nurses' Midwives' and Health Visitors' Council."

Work Experience: Experience of 1-2 years is preferred.

3. Guest Faculty-  Member of Law (Specializations:, CN, IPR, CR, etc.) and Sociology.

Education Qualification:

A. i) A Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale, if applicable) in the relevant or allied field from an Indian University, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized foreign institution. ii) In addition to meeting the above criteria, candidates must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) administered by the UGC or a comparable test recognized by the UGC, such as SLET/SET. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. Degree in consent with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2018, and subsequent amendments may be exempt from NET/SLET/SET. Candidates registered for a Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, will be subject to the regulations existing at the time of registration and can be exempt from NET/SLET/SET for Assistant Professor or similar roles in Universities/Colleges/Institutions, provided they meet the following conditions: a) The Ph.D. degree was awarded through a regular process. b) The Ph.D. thesis was reviewed by at least two external examiners. c) An open Ph.D. viva voce was conducted. d) Two research papers from the Ph.D. work were published, with at least one in a refereed journal. e) At least two conference or seminar papers based on the Ph.D. work were presented, supported by UGC / ICSSR / CSIR or a similar agency.

B. The Ph.D. degree must have been obtained from a foreign institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Rankings by one of the following: Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Times Higher Education (THE),/ the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
